Viña Santa Rita

The Hotel Casa Real is located on the Santa Rita Estate, and was formerly the summerhouse of the winery’s founder. Following restoration, it was converted into a hotel in the mid-1990s. Located in a 40-hectare park designed by leading French landscape gardener Guillaume Renner.

Its late 19th century classical style has been preserved, making it a historic monument and the only park of its kind in the country. Hotel Casa Real offers 16 beautiful rooms, fine dining, salons, and outstanding service, in a setting of absolute privacy and exclusivity. Alongside the hotel stands a Neo-Gothic chapel built in 1880 - like the mansion, it was designed by German architect Theodor Burchard.

Park

Hotel Casa Real stands in the midst of a 40-hectare park, one of the largest and best-preserved in Central Chile. It was designed by the French landscape gardener Guillaume Renner as a setting for the summerhouse that was built by founder Domingo Fernández Concha.

The park’s design is rooted in its designer’s French aesthetics, but also integrates other styles that were in vogue at the time when it was created - the English and Italian styles. The latter is reflected mainly in its ornamental motifs such as statues, which include ‘The Boy Flautists’, ‘The Artful Boy’, and ‘The Four Seasons’, as well as a number of fountains and box hedge mazes, created in a pure Renaissance style. Meanwhile, the English aesthetic shines through in the long walks, avenues, and broad lawns.

Chapel

Once the grand mansion had been completed, the architect was tasked with designing and building Santa Rita Chapel. The exterior is in the Gothic style, while the interior features Norman arches and vaulted domes in the Roman style. The images of saints that adorn the chapel walls are the work of one of Chile’s top painters of the era, Alfredo Valenzuela Puelma. Construction was completed in 1885, and the chapel became the main Catholic site for the Santa Rita Estate.

Suite

Elegantly furnished rooms measuring a spacious 70 m², with modern bathrooms and independent living rooms or galleries. Some have a view over the park, others look over the inner courtyard.

Elegantly furnished rooms measuring 30 to 50 m², with modern bathrooms and windows looking onto the inner courtyard.

Salons

The hotel’s layout preserves the mansion’s traditional spaces and uses: the entry hall, the salons, the dining room, the billiard room, and the inner colonnade, which have been kept unchanged since the late 19th century, with their original fittings. Our guests can feel at home, using the spaces as they please - enjoying a book, spending time with their companions, or just relaxing. We also offer a number of rooms designed for business meetings.

Terrace

Our terrace offers a spectacular view out over the hotel’s refined surroundings, the park and swan lake, ideal for spending an evening enjoying a glass of fine wine.

Inner Courtyard

Hotel Casa Real’s inner courtyard is a perfect spot for reading, relaxing, or just resting. Nestled behind the hotel, the rear of the courtyard lies under a pergola that during the summertime is covered with the leaves of ancient grape vines. As a backdrop, you can look out over the mountains that surround the Santa Rita Estate, in the world-famous Alto Maipo wine valley.

Casa Parque

Casa Parque is an private villa located inside our Santa Rita Park; fully furnished and decorated in a way that preserves its essence; this is the ideal place for those looking for a unique and exclusive setting to enjoy a different experience.

The villa can accommodate 6 guests in 3 bedrooms: 1 suite with private bathroom, 1 room with twin beds, and 1 flexible configuration (king o twin beds; these last 2 rooms share a bathroom).

The menu at Hotel Casa Real was specially designed to pair with Santa Rita’s wines, and to offer guests the very best dining experience. It was created by top chefs, who planned out every detail to ensure perfect harmony on the palate. The different wine-paired menu options will allow you to experience different wine valleys and grape varieties, as well as the finest seasonal ingredients, including products harvested from the grounds of the estate itself.

Annual concert schedule

Towards the end of 2011, and reclaiming an ancient tradition started by Ricardo Claro, the Seasonal Concert Cycle started back up, organized by the Claro Vial Foundation in conjunction with Viña Santa Rita and covered by the Cultural Donations Law.
