One of the most relevant wine competitions in the world, the Decanter World Wine Awards 2021 just released its results, with Santa Rita wines achieving Silver Medal. The event, which celebrates its 18th edition this year, saw more than 18,000 wines entering, coming from 56 countries. The 170 judges featured 44 Masters of Wine and 11 Master Sommeliers, who tasted through the participants over 15 days in June.

Santa Rita Medalla Real Gran Reserva Chardonnay 2020 obtained a Silver Medal and 92 points. The judges commented on its “Toasty, nutty aromas with red apple, white peach, and chamomile. Tangy salinity and freshness create a juicy, appealing and fresh wine full of regional typicity”.
