Weather
It has a very dry and warm climate, with hot summers and rainy winters (annual precipitation of 595 mm). During the summer, winds from the south and southwest lead to low nighttime temperatures with a high diurnal temperature variation. It has a sub-humid Mediterranean climate, with an average annual temperatures of 14.9o C (57o F). The Coastal Mountain Range allows for sea breeze to reach the valley and help lower the temperatures during the afternoon. This effect is especially important during the maturation period.Soil type
The soil is volcanic in origin and contains granite rocks from geological formations such as glaciations, volcanic eruptions and local chemical reactions. It has clay, loamy-clay and sandy soils at different depths between 30 and 70 cm.Hotel Casa RealReservas / Bookings
