    It is not necessary, but is highly recommended, especially on weekends, where the number of visitors tends to increase.

  7. Is there a restaurant to have lunch at Viña Santa Rita?
    Yes, we have Doña Paula Restaurant, which works from Monday to Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 16:00 p.m. It is recommended to book in advance here, especially on weekends.
    In addition, you can have lunch at Café “La Panadería”, open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m., or enjoy a picnic in the gardens next to Museo Andino, with excellent views to the vineyards. For more information, click here.
  8. What payment options do the touristic center have?
    You can pay with credit or cards, or with cash in Chilean pesos (foreign currency is not accepted).
  9. Are pets allowed at the touristic center?
    Pets are not allowed due to the compliance with the international certificate BRCGS (Global Food Safety Certification), which certifies the safety and quality of our wines. Only disabled companion animals are allowed, such as a guide dog.
  10. What else can I do at the winery?Viña Santa Rita is the wine tourism center with the largest complementary offer in one place. You can stay at Hotel Casa Real, take different kind of tours, have lunch at the renowned Doña Paula Restaurant, enjoy more informal food at our Café La Panadería, share a picnic on the Museo Andino square, buy the best wines or tastings by glass in our Wine Shop or visit the surprising Museo Andino, which is free and is covered by the Cultural Donations Law.
  11. How far in advance do I have to arrive if the tour has been booked previously?
    The ideal is to arrive at the Tourism House 20 minutes earlier (consider it within the travel time)
  12. Is the winery accessible for people with reduced mobility?
    Yes. We have an electric minibus that is constantly transferring visitors free, from the parking lot to the Tourism House and vice versa, thus helping to facilitate access. Also, in the routes of the different tours, we have ramps for wheelchair access.
  13. How long does it take to get to the winery?
    It will depend on the means of transport, although we are 45 minutes from Santiago. For more information, click here.

  15. Where can I store my backpack?
    We have free-use lockers with room for a backpack. For its use, please request the key at the Tourism House.
  16. How much does the entrance to Museo Andino cost?
    Museo Andino is free to enter and its hours of operation is from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.
